Our classes are fluid, dynamic, hands-on & immersive.

We offer classes that invite creativity, curiosity & out-of-the box thinking, and leave children with skills that will last a lifetime.

We create interdisciplinary connections to traditional African cultures & contemporary African inspirations.

We value the process over the product, while also ensuring that children will leave with tangible products that they have made with their own hands & hearts - think jewelry made out of unusual materials, bags of all kinds, African-inspired architecture, and so much more.

Your child will be introduced to amazing African inspirations around art & design of everyday & high-end objects, authentic African fabrics & so much more. These African inspirations will be shared with specificity and nuance, so that they know that Africa is incredibly diverse & rich, not a monolith.

There is currently NO other program like this anywhere!

We will have our hands-on, immersive classes in our local park in the Greater Houston/Fort Bend County area.

We will also explore our outdoor park environment with a focus on exploring the amazing flora and fauna around us, and creating connections to nature. Our ultimate goal is to have a van that takes children to various nature sites, parks, centers, and hands-on environments around the Greater Houston area and environs.

We will be meeting outdoors at our local park (location will be sent via email, once paid), and ask that parents remain at the park with their children to keep costs down, and to build much-needed community among homeschooling families.
